    Advanced Legal Research and Writing

    Builds upon the research and writing skills learned in the first year. Students explore a wide range of research sources, both legal and nonlegal, including computer assisted legal research. Students analyze various types of legal writing. The importance of context, organization and audience in legal writing is stressed. Parts, sections or clauses of written documents are analyzed, evaluated, criticized, edited and rewritten to improve and develop the students' analytical and writing skills.
