    Decolonizing Perspectives on Transnational Social Work

    An analysis of the relationship between transnational issues and social work practices within the context of globalization through a decolonizing lens. Themes covered will include economic globalization, forced migration and international social work education. Implications for decolonizing social work practices in relation to each theme will be examined. A diversity of sources, including audio-visual materials as well as writings of scholars from the global south will be used throughout the course.
